HBS Faculty and Dean at HBS Centennial Dinner

The year 2008 marks the 100th anniversary of the establishment of the Harvard Business School. While there have been many changes over the years at Soldiers Field, HBS's dedication to developing leaders that shape the practice of business in every industry and in every country around the world remains unchanged. Celebrations of this special milestone year for HBS will be occurring throughout the world and those of us in greater Los Angeles will be among the first alumni groups to mark the Centennial Year.

You will be receiving in a few days a personal invitation to our celebration with Dean Jay Light on the evening of Tuesday , January 8th. I encourage all alumni to reserve this date to join us for this very special evening.

The celebration will be hosted at a Private Club at 545 S. Figueroa Street in downtown Los Angeles and will include cocktails and hors d'oeuvres, a festive dinner, Centennial video, remarks by Dean Light, Alumni memories and Centennial door prizes and favors.

Reservations will be taken starting next week online (following an upgrade to our website) and by phone at our offices. There will also be an "HBS Memories" link on the web site which will enable you to share your memories of your time at HBS. We will be compiling these memories to share at the Celebration.

I hope to see you all there!
