Tour of Civil Rights Exhibition at Skirball
Enjoy a private tour of Road to Freedom: Photographs of the Civil Rights Movement, 1956-1968; Breach of Peace: Photographs of Freedom Riders by Eric Etheridge, and An Idea Called Tomorrow, all at the Skirball Center!
This February, join Skirball associate curator Erin Clancey and director of education Sheri Bernstein (Harvard MA, '91) for a tour of three related exhibitions on the Civil Rights Movement. The program begins with a walkthrough of the major traveling exhibition Road to Freedom: Photographs of the Civil Rights Movement, 1956-1968; continues with a visit to Breach of Peace: Photographs of Freedom Riders by Eric Etheridge; and ends with a look at several works in An Idea Called Tomorrow, an exhibition in which some of today's leading artists explore their visions for a more civic-minded future.
