HBSASC receives no funding from the School.  Your membership is essential to the operations of the club and our ability to continue to bring you the wide variety of events you have come to expect.  Our expenses include this website, insurance, accounting and tax preparation, printing and shipping of the directory, planning and administration of RSVPs and events, and printing and mailing of newsletter and other communications.  This costs us $35,000 - $40,000 minimum to operate the club.  And we also need the financial strength to be able to put down deposits on our larger events and venues.  We are a 501(c)(4) non-profit and all expenses are used to bring the network and experiences of HBS to the over 2000 alumni in the Southern California Region. 

The club offers a variety of membership options to meet your needs including 1 and 3 year memberships, joint memberships with the Harvard-Radcliffe Club of Southern California, and Couples memberships for those dual HBS Alumni households.  New alumni may join for half price.  Current students looking to locate in Southern California are encouraged to sign up for a free membership so that they may be kept informed of events and opportunities to network with local alumni.
